Carol (Lee)'s Story
After all this time, I should write something however brief. I spent my time at MHS without developing much in the way of social graces so I doubt many would remember me. After two years at MJC getting rid of requirements, I transferred to Cal Berkeley. Stan State was backup in case of rejection but I was accepted at Cal while Stan State was still asking for more info. When my "2-S" deferment ended, the draft board reclassified and...Expand for more
drafted me in 30 days. Maybe the most efficient thing the government ever did. Tried to bring my business degree to Modesto to a total lack of interest so I headed back to the Bay Area for awhile (40 ears or so). Worked for several Fortune 500 companies ....mostly computer and electronics. Two reasons to be in the Bay Area. Weather and work. When work ended, weather wasn't enough Now it's east Oakdale and a different lifestyle.
